Ok, after that interview, I am official stoked. No need to worry about Miller messing with Robin on this one, this is the straight-up, original Dick, baby. cool

Wow! That answers all my questions that I had like 10 minutes ago, and it all sounds great but there better be a point of all the guest appearances otherwise it makes me ask Why is he/she needed whilst I'm reading..

Newsarama article featuring Alex Ross' artwork of villains for the upcoming Justice maxi-series.

Newsarama news about Ultimate Marvel.

Newsarama article/interview about the new ongoing The Spirit comic and its creator: Darwyn Cooke. I know The Spirit was created by comiclegend Will Eisner, but I've never read anything of it. Is it good? I'm really interested because I'm a big Cooke fan...

Newsarama article/interview about the upcoming The Spirit/Batman stand-alone issue and its writer: Jeph Loeb.

Grant Morrison writing and Jim Lee drawing WildC.A.T.S.!
I really need to start getting the old series complete so that I'm well-prepared for this.

Some great, great stuff! Read on, dear reader...

Newsarama article: Cup o' Jeph, WW: Chicago.
It features 2 announcements. (1) Jeph Loeb is a Marvel exclusive for an unknown period of time starting September, 1st. (2) Joe Madureira is back drawing interior pages after several years. Madureira was my #1 favorite artist during his run on Uncanny X-Men and I liked his Battle Chasers as well (more for the art but the story was decent as well). Loeb and Madureira are both working on a project that will be revealed later.

Newsarama article on Grant Morrison's new role within the DCU.
It's a bit of an old article, but I must've overlooked it.
It states that Morrison got ideas for all kinds of characters and how they could be integrated within the DCU whilst working on Seven Soldiers so now, just like Geoff Johns is the man overlooking Infinite Crisis so that all characters will flow into the story smoothly, Morrison has a consulting/developmental role as well but for the post-Infinite Crisis DCU.
“Recreating properties is something I do between jobs for my own amusement and to exercise my head but Dan was clearly intrigued by the wealth of material and asked me if I’d like to accept a job as DC’s official ‘revamp’ guy.”
"[...] early hints of the post-Crisis world will turn up in Bulleteer #2 and Frankenstein #3.
[...] my lips are sealed, except to say that the newly-sentient DC Universe looks mighty unstoppable for the next couple of years!”

Newsarama article about WildStorm, WW: Chicago.
WildStorm is quickly becoming my favorite imprint/universe after reading this. Some stuff I'm looking forward to:
- WildC.A.T.S. relaunch by Grant Morrison and Jim Lee (another Newsarama article)
- Morrison will, just like his role as 'revamp guy' for the DCU, guide the WildStorm Universe relaunches like The Authority, Stormwatch and Wetworks.
- Gen13 relaunch by Gail Simone and Talent Caldwell
- Planetary will start its ending January 2006. The ending will last four issues which will be released monthly from then on. Ellis and Cassaday will release an epilogue issue after that, when their schedule allows it.
- Busiek and Pacheco's Arrowsmith will get a follow-up late 2006 or early 2007.

Old Newsarama article about Batman: Europe.
Mini-series about Batman & The Joker pursuing some foe through Europe. Written by Azzarello and drawn by Jim Lee and several US and European artists.

Newsarama, Marvel Knights panel, WW: Chicago 2005.
- Brubaker & Lark new creative team on Daredevil after Bendis & Maleev.
- Kevin Smith will finally finish Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do.

Newsarama index on their coverage of the WW: Chicago '05.

He's moving future mini-series to another publisher, Top Shelf. The graphic novel Dark Dossier will still be published through DC.

Here's a Millarworld thread on Dark Dossier.

Same here, dude. Moore said that Dark Dossier was easily his best LOEG work to date.
I don't know if it's just shameless plugging, but on the other hand: I don't care cheesy.
