Yeah, I know who you are, and I knew who marv was, I was just being sarcastic like always. Its good to see everyone, yet some faces are missing or so I think they are. Hopefully everyone will come around.

And where the hell are our two mods?

Well I must say, alot has changed here! New faces and familiar faces (im still trying to figure out who Mowtown Marvel is undecided ). Its good to see everyone again. Snipe, hope everything is working out for you old friend. Dirk, good to see your still around, and to everyone else, greetings im BIF. Not alot new with me, bad car accident and my band One Day Remains is in the top 5 best bands in Pensacola, quite a milestone if I may say so myself. I'll try to poke my head around the corner every now and again. BTW, whats the story with re registering? It said "BatmansIronFist" doesnt exist. I felt so insulted.

YO! things are great, sorry to hear about your car. Do you guys have a tape / cd (demo) yet? I'd love to hear it.
I got tired of the forum crashing, so I moved it off-site. If you look in the address bar, it's no longer hosted at "thebatsquad.net" - it's one of them generic free places. Oh well, much more stable.

Emma is here as "Batgirl." WCASnikt hasn't been around much lately. He's got different job duties (we still work in the same department, just different jobs now), which take up a lot of his time.

BOO YAH!

BIF is back.
Great to hear about your band! Awesome. Emma calls herself batgirl, ut saying that would be revealing a secret identity, and her husband has registered as Wolverine.

I am busy so I'll write down something during the weekend.

Its all good with the car, only material things, we can get another one, we're alive, so im greatful. We went through a massive line-up change with my band, so our EP has been pushed back to late '05 possible early '06, but we'll see. Hopefully the boards run better here, that crashing business was crazy. However stability is a good thing so I guess we're in good hands then.

I traded a book of mine for an original piece of art! I received my Midnighter sketch in the mail Monday and it looks awesome! All that for a dumb book like Saga of the Seven suns: Veilled Alliances...

I'm so excited!

Gahhh....Im still in fucking shock...the Stones were absolutely fucking incredible last night....Mick can shake it like nobody I've ever seen, especially considering his age. Keith (KEEF!) looks like they dug up his corpse and propped it up on stage, though. Except during Tumbling Dice, he was fucking GOD during that song. My favorite performances of the set were:

Start Me Up
Bitch
Midnight Rambler
Wild Horses
You Can't Always Get What You Want
Tumbling Dice
Honky Tonk Women
It's Only Rock n Roll (But I Like It)
The Night time is the Right time (Ray Charles cover)
Paint it, Black
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Brown Sugar

Sympathy for the Devil was their weakest song of the night, unfortunately, and there was some stuff from their new album that I was unfamiliar with, as well as a few more covers, but overall, their set kicked ass.

Also, on a side note, John Maher was the opening act, and he actually rocked it pretty hard. He's a Berkeley trained guitarist so once you get the guy up on stage he's like a Blues monster.

Derek Fridolfs did the sketch. When I'm brave enough to take it to a scanner, I will scan it. For now I'll figure out what to do with it: frame it or not, hang it up then or put it on a shelf, keep it like this but will that not be dangerous? Argh!

OK guys, I have a question.
I have this chance to get 2 more sketches. One of them will be Elijah Snow from Planetary but which character shall I take for the other?

- Batman from DKR
- The Doctor from The Authority
- Cyclops from Morrison's New X-Men
- Rorschach from Watchmen
- another character, perhaps a cool villain (like The Joker)?

I would've gone for characters from The Invisibles but the artist (Derek Fridolfs again) doesn't know them very well so that makes it difficult for him.
