Ok, the wife and I are checked into our ShadowCon hotel room. A Holiday Inn in Memphis. The internet connection can only be described as "teh shitty."
If anyone is still interested, the costume is complete - I picked it up on the way here. Me likes.

the buffet service is exquisite, it just unbelieveable as to how the russian cavier differs from that of the peking duck. kiss

I mean the duck is so nice and soft while the cavier shows that nice firmness that you can't anywhere except from russia.

OK, I finished updating the article on the manga Akira for Wikipedia. I did the synopsis almost completely and I'm actually quite proud about it.
Akira.
I also made another page.

Suicidegirls.com? Elaborate, gerne, Mein Freund...

The two courses of my study I'm following currently kickass. One looks at our Consciousness, how it is defined, what being conscious and unconscious of something is, and stuff like that. The other course deals with another question: (how) are we different from machines and their Artificial Intelligence? The technological advances we have made predict that in 10 years time, computers will have the same amount of capacity we humans have.
I'll not bore you with details, but stuff I can relate to these courses are Ghost in the Shell, WE3 (Morrison) Space Oddysee and the likes. Very, very interesting to say the least.

Since my last post, it turned out I didn't need to go to Jury Duty so I had the whole day off. This past December at Target wasn't so bad thanks to the grand opening of a Super Target a few miles away.

For Christmas, I received $100+ in gift certificates at Gamestop. So far I've only used them towards the Mega Man X Collection.

This past week, I added RAM to the comp. and brought my Mazda in for its first major repair service (radiator leak). In the meantime I've saving up for the San Diego ComicCon in July ( my first time in California) and wondering when I'll get off my ass and install a new printer/scanner and reveal the real reason why Snipe lives in Tennessee.

Soooo.... my first ever non-single V-day is now gone... cheesy It went well... smiley Got the lady friend a huge bouquet of daisies (her favorite, and thankfully cheaper than roses shocked), a box of chocolates (you know how fucking hard it is to find a fucking box of chocolates with no coconuthuh!), a teddy bear, a card and the full screen regular edition of FOTR.... (Because her mom bought her TTT and ROTK REs for Christmas, but not FOTR undecided, and for the record I offered to get her the EE but she wanted all hers to match shocked... and she hates widescreen anyway (( I know I know... I'm trying to convert her sad))) We spent the night watching movies in her room, and despite her constant fun poking of my hobby she got me a $25 gift certificate to Storyteller (my local comic shop) cheesy
