I've received several sketches from Derek Fridolfs the last year, when trading them for TPB's. Fridolfs' work can now be enjoyed in the Iron Fist book, and probably others as well.

I've got some more stuff up on ebay - mostly Marvel. Some figures and some DC stuff, too.

Leaving tonight for Memphis - MidSouth Con. Mark Waid's going to be there, so it may be decent this year. If I get any good pictures of weird ass costumers (including myself), I'll try to post them next week...

My only exposure to The White Stripes is their appearance on The Simpsons:

It's a simple song but I like it.

Does any one of you guys and gals have any experience with making a cool 'illustration' of a sentence? It needn't be anything fancy, but I just want to try and have a quote on the cover of my thesis.

So, if any of you would not object to making a beautiful, but certainly not fancy/flashy (less is more) illustration with greyish/white letters (as if it is on the background) and a white background of the sentence:
Quote:
The universe doesn't have to make sense to you,
it just has to make sense.
covering not more than half of an upright A4 format paper, I would be obliged.

I got an A in my composition class. Instead of being my usual, quiet, boring self, I actually opened up and met two people in class who I've stayed in contact with (one of them was a girl cheesy but she's taken huh). Meanwhile at work, I received Employee of the Month for the third time.

I'm also going back to San Diego in two weeks for Comic-Con. This year I hope I can see more of San Diego than its convention center.
