I remember going to see Anna Vissi (For those of you who haven't heard of her (Most likely all of you cheesy) she's the Greek Madonna). Would've been five or six years ago. She was 47 then yet she looks the same way she did in the 80's today.

I saw Tool again on the 27th of June but, unfortunately, it wasn't that spectacular as it was a couple of years ago. They played a lot of stuff from 10,000 Days (not unlogical, but I don't like the album as much as I love Lateralus).
All in all, a good concert which was worth my money, but wasn't worth a lot more.

Damn, almost all of those names I do not know at all.

If I like progressive rockbands like Tool and King Crimson and electronic music like Intelligent Dance Music (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher) and other electronic artists (Leftfield, Brian Eno), which bands would I perhaps like?

On that list, the only one that could fall under those categories is Queensryche. I'd also recomend Dream Theater

Thanks, LL.
I have 'listened to some of their CD's at the recordstore'. i.e., download some mp3's
Silent Lucidity and Empire I do not like: it's too symphonic, majestic, over-the-top rock for my tastes.
That's also the feeling I get with Dream Theater: too much show, too little music. I do not like it at all.

But hey, like we always say: to each his own.

Midnighter: Mellowdrone.
www.mellowdrone.com
^^Official site.

http://bored.frameseven.net/viewtopic.php?t=454
^^official message board with link and instructions on how to download most of their stuff

http://www.myspace.com/mellowdrone
^^myspace site with 3-4 tracks

They're rock with some electronic thrown in. I really don't know how to classify them, but if you like some techno and some tool, they might just wet your taste buds.

The Smashing Pumpkins at the Miami Arena. Opening act: Garbage.

Lionel Ritchie when I went to New York and attended a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman.

Sorry, but I don't like Mellowdrone at all.

Anyone that is interested in good jazzmusic that sounds lovely, should try and listen to The Bad Plus. Some songs that I love are Silence is the Question, Heart of Glass (Blondie cover), Flim (Aphex Twin cover), Smells Like Teen Spirit (Nirvana cover), Big Eater and there are a lot more songs out there.
Amazingly good band with extraordinairy musicians.

Opus III - I Talk To The Wind is a very nice song and Orbital's Halcyon & On & On is brilliant too.
Those are my recommendations of today.

Oh no wait. I recommend to spend time on the beach if the weather is good.
Yeah, those are my recommendations.
