Oh, Jesus Christ... I can't believe I forgot to mention this...

...ahem...

...

...I have tickets to WrestleMania 22!!!

My wife got me a pair of tickets ($200 each) for Sweetest Day! Man, I'm gonna be excited watching the Royal Rumble. I've wanted to go to WrestleMania since I saw Austin win the 1997 Royal Rumble and now I get to go! Whippee!!

Sorry, BIF... I gotta do it.

Judgement Day 05

MNM vs. Haas and Holly
Pretty solid and a fair bit better than your average tag match. Haas was trying pretty hard here because of the upcoming draft lottery, but nothing came of it. Melina gives me a tingling sensation in my pants.

Rating: **

Carlito vs. Big Show
Nothing much of note here. Big Show pretty much squashed Carlito until a ref bump and an F-5 from Matt M m-m-m-m-morgan. After seeing Goldberg, Brock and Cena lift Show over their heads, it wasn’t as impressive any more.

Rating: *

Chavo vs. London.
Pretty good. The cruiser division deserves better than it’s getting these days. The match was smilar to the Chavo/Rey matches of last year. However it wasn’t given near enough time.

Rating: ***

Heh, there’s a segment where Booker is looking for Kurt Angle backstage and in the background Paul London can be seen taking a piss wearing a towel and whistling.

Kurt Angle vs. Booker T.
While the storyline was total shit, I’m glad Booker was given something to go with. The match itself was great. But it needed more time and a non botched finish. Given those and taking away the Sharmell thing that happened afterwards this would be heading to serious ****+ territory.

Rating: ***3/4

OJ vs. Heidenreich
Heidencrap.

Rating: DUD

Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio
The video package for this was one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. Eddie was great in this match, busting out moves I’ve never seen him do, like the spinebusters on the announce table as well as the Liontamer into the Boston Crab into the STF. Rey wasn’t too bad (understatement of the year) in this either, especially with that ringpost 619 into the back of Eddie’s head. However, I could’ve done without the Chavo interference and the DQ ending. And despite of all that, I still say that this is the second best match of the year.

Rating: ****1/2

JBL vs. John Cena.
Very different match to say the least. I was expecting more visual diarrhoea akin to the Wrestlemania match, but I was totally surprised by this, they put in a lot of effort. From Cena’s over the top entrance on the truck to amounts of blood lost by both guys this was great. Definitely JBL’s best match ever, which isn’t saying much but this was one of the most brutal matches I’ve seen since Mick Foley’s stuff from back in the day.

Rating: ****

This PPV was great. I’d recommend watching it. 8 out of 10 and the best judgement Day I’ve ever seen.

I feel like checking it out. I haven't watched NWA/TNA since it first started and there was a battle royal for the Championship or something (can't remember real well... years ago). Everybody in the battle royal was either a WWE or WCW mid-carder but this card seems good. I know that A. J. Styles, who I am personally unfamiliar with, is supposed to be a wrestling demi-god and I know most of the names on the card so I might see it (only if it repeats at 10 or 11 though). I'll definitely check out the first half-hour, though... if it's free.

Big news for tonight

KEVIN NASH UPDATE, MORE REGARDING TONIGHT'S "BOUND FOR GLORY"

Update: On Sunday, TNA management learned that Kevin Nash will not be medically cleared to compete tonight in the main event of "Bound For Glory" for the NWA World Heavyweight Title. TNA management official Terry Taylor spent the night with Nash at the hospital, who also had his family in attendance. Nash was admitted to an Orlando hospital on Saturday afternoon after dialing 911 from his hotel room shortly before the fanfest.

TNA management along with Championship Committee member Larry Zbyszko have ensured TNAwrestling.com that the NWA World Heavyweight Title will indeed be defended tonight at "Bound For Glory". We hope to have an update on the condition of Kevin Nash as soon as possible.

Wonder who they're gonna put in as a replacment? The obvious choice would be Raven

The X Division 4 way is opening the show. Good choice cheesy

That should get a few people watching the free first half an hour to order the PPV.

Stone Cold had a heart attack the night before WrestleMania XIX? Didn't he referee a match at 'Mania?

And, yes, what did happen to Nash?
