Joe's DVD is about 13 matches long. It's really good stuff. Especially his matches with AJ, Daniels, Homicide, and Doug Williams.
I need to check out those Straight Shootin' DVDs. I've heard good things about them.

Cheers

I think i'll go with the AJ DVD this time as i've being wanting that for a while

I'll get both vols of Joe in ROH another time

I'd definitely recommend the Cabana/Punk and Joe straight shooting DVD's, the Joe one is worth getting just for his Japan stories. He also tells some funny stories about when he was training Nathan Jones

Watched last nights impact earlier. The six man tag was awesome! It was only seven mins.....but what a seven mins it was. GenNext worked so well together and hit some great moves. I'd love to see a 15-20 min rematch at a PPV . I wonder where they're going with them? Have them try and take over the X Division or something? They should definitley beat up Jerry Lynn though grin

And they finally had Joe speak. He's now 50% more badass

That Sting segment was painful to watch though sad

Yeah, iMPACT was great. That GenNext group they've got going is gonna tear the house down, I know it. I hope they get a match at Final Resolution that lasts for a good 20-25 mins.
Yeah, Joe's mic skills are awesome. He doesn't sound anything like you'd think he would. That whole thing with the towel was badass.
Ron Killings dancing all over the place and the Sting tribute were horrible, up until CC and the rest of them came out and cleaned house that is.

Hold on... So, the WWE is now firing guys (i.e.: Juventud Guerrera) for doing moves that the fans love (450 Splash) and trying to have good lengthy matches with plenty of amazing manuevers (for which the wrestler is known and was hired to begin with) in attempts to please the crowd and have them come back for more next time the WWE is in town? Um...

...uh...

P.S.: 2005 until August was the year of HBK. The rest of the year was a complete downward spiral climaxing with Eddie's death and plummeting further and further into boringness. Let's look at SmackDown!'s last PPV for an example. And this months PPV as well (only worth watching for the Chamber and maybe Trish/Mickie). Although, Survivor Series did somewhat bring back the HBK a little.

Credit Rajah:

"There is a slight possibility of Big Show winning his match against Triple H tonight. With Triple H scheduled to win the title at WrestleMania, having him job now will help create title contenders for the summer."

"Vince McMahon is interested in having Bret Hart make an appearance at WrestleMania 22. Hart's role would be to serve as the special referee for the Vince McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels match. Those close to Bret Hart, however, are confident the wrestler will not take part. Hart and McMahon still have problems with one another, as each has taken shots at one another in their recently released DVD and book."

Fuck that. Short of Benoit winning the best of seven series and fighting Flair in a Champion vs. Champion Bra and Panties match there will be no Wrestlemania for dude love this year! angry angry angry angry angry

Agreed. I doubt Mania will be worth getting this year. Then again, who knows with me, I did buy it last year just to see Batista win the tile.

YES EDGE IS THE NEW CHAMPION FUCK YES!

That hopefully means HHH/Cena is not for the title.

Edge/Shelton Benjamin?
Edge/RVD?
Edge/Y2J?

I'm so fucking stoked right now.

Anyway, here's a mini reveiw of NYR. I'll give a better one when I watch the tape again.

Edge/Flair: No Rating. Missed 'cause I was working.
Mickie/Trish: *1/2. Could've been better.
Helms/Lawler: *. High spot here or there but that's it.
HHH/Big Show: **1/2. Nice little match. Leaves me thinking these guys can do ***+ in a street fight.
Benjamin/Viscera: 1/2. Not much to it. Hopefully this means Benjamin is going to get pushed properly now.
DIVA match: DUD. Moolah/Mae Young. So, so fucking random.
Chamber match: ***. WTF? If they ever missuse Kurt Angle like that again I'm gng over to Conneticut with a 2x4 wrapped in barb wire and a sweat sock in my pants! angry
Edge/Cena aka Warrior/Honky Tonk Man aka Jordan Benoit: *1/4. Unexfuckingpected

S'funny... Right after Edge's match against Ric Flair at New Year's Revolution I said to my wife, "Edge and John Cena for the WWE Title will be the main event at WrestleMania," and by the end of the night I was half right... Of course, for months I've been saying that if RVD comes back for the Rumble he'll win it and go on to WrestleMania to win the title. (Note: That's not an official pick. That'll come the weekend of the Rumble.)

BTW: Edge's first Raw as champion sucked ass and the worst part was his contribution of a "Sex Celebration."

Yeah, Raw was total crap. The only part I liked was the tag match. At least HBK and Kurt put on yet another good show. And was it just me, or was that a dumb fuckin' crowd? They were cheering Carlito, Cena, and booing the hell out of Edge.

Ok here's the story. Batista's injured. Torn triceps. That very same injury kept hiim out nine months in 2003.

From Meltzer today:

Quote:
The word going around last night as it pertained to Batista is there was probably no chance for him to be back in time for Wrestlemania. Again, the doctors have not given final word, but plans were being talked of as if the title change was now a definite. They may do a quickie title change tonight if they can get him in the ring and do something short and safe, or just strip him, do another tournament, or even put it up in the Royal Rumble match with the proviso if a Raw guy wins, he comes to Smackdown as champion. All have been discussed. There was no etched in stone idea at last word. The final decision should be made clear at tonight's tapings.
