That was one of the best parts too. I still can't believe how awful it was

Tonights Slamiversary card

KING OF THE MOUNTAIN MATCH FOR THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Christian Cage (c) vs. "The Monster" Abyss vs.
Ron "The Truth" Killings vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting

WHO IS TRULY UNSTOPPABLE?
"The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe vs. "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
America's Most Wanted (c) vs. AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels

HANDICAP MATCH
"The War Machine" Rhino vs. Bobby Roode and Coach Scott D'Amore

BINGO HALL BRAWL
The James Gang vs. Team 3D
Kevin Nash vs. Chris Sabin

X DIVISION RANKINGS MATCH

I'm never watching TNA again if Steiner beats Joe. Don't think there's realy any chance of that though. They've done a superb job of booking Joe so far

The news

Wrestling stars busted in Hanging Rock
By Kirsten Stanley/The Ironton Tribune

HANGING ROCK — Two wrestling superstars from Extreme Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment may be tough in the ring, but they didn’t have enough muscle to escape drug charges after being stopped Sunday night by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Robert Alex Szatowski, aka WWE and ECW champion Rob Van Dam, and Terry Michael Brunk, aka Sabu, also a former ECW champion, were pulled over on U.S. 52, near Patrick Street in Hanging Rock at about 10:15 p.m. The two were apparently driving from their performances at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena earlier in the evening.

According to the OSHP, Szatowski was initially stopped for speeding. When troopers approached his vehicle, they smelled marijuana and performed a search. Troopers found the wrestler in possession of 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin, prescription pain pills. Brunk was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also had nine pills that were not immediately identifiable, but were known to be controlled substances, according to the OSHP. Both were cited and posted bond at the scene.

Szatowski, of Battle Creek, Mich., has had a long, successful career with both the WWE and ECW. In addition to being the current champion of both, he has been intercontinental champion six times, hardcore champion four times and has been a part of several championship tag team duos.

He is scheduled to wrestle tonight on WWE Raw and is also wrestling Tuesday night to retain his WWE and ECW titles during the “Extreme Rules Match” on the Sci-Fi channel.

Brunk, who lists his hometown as Bombay, India, on the WWE Web site, has also had a successful career with the ECW, earning world heavyweight championship titles two times and tag team championship honors three times.

Both Brunk and Szatowski are scheduled to appear at 10 a.m. Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court. Both wrestlers won their matches last night in Huntington, W.Va. Van Dam defeated the Big Show and Sabu defeated Justin Credible.

From the WWE drug policy

13. DISCIPLINE FOR VIOLATION OF LAW

Any Talent who is arrested, convicted or who admits to a violation of law relating to use, possession, purchase, sale or distribution of prohibited drugs will be in material breach of contract and subject to immediate dismissal.

I think Sabu will probably get fired, and RVD could too after he's lost the belts

And then there's this

According to the Wrestling-Observer Newsletter, a highly-ranked UFC official said that the company no longer plans to ignore WWE's public "challenges."

While UFC let Angle's storyline "open challenge" to anyone from a 4-, 6- or 8-sided ring go unaddressed, it will not be doing that in the future. If WWE attempts to put one of its wrestlers over as superior to MMA fighters, it will respond to put public pressure on WWE to make the match happen.

"Now that we have exposure, we're not going to be ignoring stuff like this. We'll go public and have Chuck Liddell accept any public challenges or claims they'll make," the source said.

They wouldn't be able to send Liddell as i doubt anyone would be able to cut down 205lbs

It'd would have to be someone from the heavyweight division......of course i'm sure WWE will just shut up now

Lidell could rape most of the WWE roster, since it's all oversaturated with "enhancement talent".

But I'm positive that Angle could rape Lidell's face in a shoot fight.

ECW is well and truly back among us. Neither man is getting fired. Sabu paid a $1000 fine and publicly apologised to the company. He'll get a 30 day suspension and he'll be back to normal. RVD as gotten a 30 day suspension, and has been jobbed out (However both times where under dubious circumstances). If anything they'll have a RVD has to deal with his personal demons a la Eddie Guerrero storyline which will give him a big push.

I had a feeling King Booker was gonna win. He deserves it like hell. He's been the star of Smackdown since he turned heel, and the King Booker thing was the icing on the cake. He's the best heel in the company right now IMO. The piece of crap Batista will probably win the title at Summerslam though angry angry angry angry angry angry

And Kane will never be champ, and depspite being a huge Kane fan, i don't want him to be either. I can only imagine how awful they'd book him as champ

Wow... after a reaction like that I really hate to bring you this sad news.

I'm at my mom's house right now (and I was when I left the Booker T message). I don't have internet access in my apartment. That's why I haven't been on here... But that'll all change this Saturday when I'm gonna get Comcast internet and cable.

(Note: Yes, the Comcast cable package also includes WWE 24/7.)

See, you Saturday or Sunday (during Summerslam, which I can order, maybe), Dude.

You're coming back permanantly! How is that sad news?

Summerslam Predictions:

WWE Title: Cena/Edge.
I am so fucking sick of Cena/Edge. They've been fueding scince January. The only two times Cena/Edge broke *** was Cena/Edge with Mick Foley as the special referee and the Triple threat at Backlash (Which is so far my third favourite match of the year). And they got the worst gimmick for this match. The title changes hands by DQ? WTF is that shit?
Who wins: Edge by dq. Setting up another rematch
Rating: About **1/2 or **3/4.

World Title: King Booker vs. Batista.
I'm looking forward to this. Everyones expecting Bobtista to squash our lord. I don't think so. The King has been too hot to be a transitional champion. This should be a competitive match and I think the two will mesh together well.
Winner: King Booker by shenanigans.
Rating: My guess about ***1/2

ECW Title: Big Show vs. Sabu/Kurt Angle or Rob Van Dam
I'm dissapointed for two reasons. We don't get ECW in Australia and it wont be the fatal fourway i've been dreaming about scince the ECW brand was created. Big Show's apparently been having the best matches of his life since winning the ECW title. Wade Keller (A man whose opinion I deeply respect)has given his matches against RVD, Flair and Kane ***+. Show's never done *** matches in his life. My guess is Sabu will be his opponent.
Winner: Big Show. Van Dam is taking his title back once he reproves himself to management.
Rating: You don't know with Sabu. Either it's another *** mircale for Show of a * mess.

Rey Mysterio vs. Chavito.
Man I hope there's no Smackdown in heaven. Because Eddie would be very hurt by this storyline. The match will be good no doubt, but the storyline has done nothing but try to tarnish the memory of Eddie Guerrero.
Winner: Chavito by tights or something like that.
Rating: Lets see, NWO 04 ****, GAB 04 ****1/4 so logically ****1/2.

Orton/Hogan.
Hogan is fat.
Winner: Hogan
Rating: about **

Flair/Foley.
IMO this may just be the fued of the year. Both men are giving it their all. I'm not sure about "I quit" though. While JBL/Cena and Austin/Hart where classics, they both had good reasoning to be made I Quit matches, everyone and their grandmother wanted to see JBL say "I quit" and everyone wanted to see who would quit between Austin and Hart. But I don't think anybody wants to see either Foley or Flair say I Quit.
Winner: I think Foley will walk to the ring and Quit and then beat up Flair setting up Hell in a Cell! Or Foley wins a hard fought classic.
Rating: ***** if they have a competitive match. N/A if it goes the way I think.

McMen vs. D-X.
I. Don't. Care.
Winner: I. Don't. Care.
Rating: I. Don't. Care.

I also think they'll throw in something between Angle, Rob Van Dam, Lashley, Finlay, Kane, Carlito, Mr. Kennedy, Shelton, Nitro and The Undertaker in which the Deaman will emerge victorious.

Man, my first cable bill is gonna have the regular $100 plus about $100 more for installation when it gets here so I most likely (99.9% sure here) won't be ordering SummerSlam this year. I truly can't afford $39.95 more.

Sucks a bunch since I wanted to see Orton/Hogan bad. Not because of match quality (although Orton will rock) but just because that kind of match keeps you on your toes as to whether Orton can kill Hogan's legend.

I, for some reason, also want to see Cena/Edge. Keep in mind, I haven't seen Raw since WrestleMania so I haven't seen however many matches they may have had over the past months. I just like the feud and the personalities involved. Oh, and I just heard about it but "the title changes hands on DQ" does sound very... very stupid.
