Just finished watching the first match from Genesis. I clocked it in at 13:31. Very short. It had about two good spots. Joe slinging Angle from the ring to the guardrail and into a powerbomb-thing was cool as well as the countering of the ankle lock into the coquina clutch and back into the ankle lock. Other than that it was entirely too short and sub-par for Joe/Angle... definitely not as good as most of Angle's big matches this year against people like Undertaker, Orton, Mysterio and Michaels. I even found Angle's bit in the Elimination Chamber to be more exciting. As for Joe, I haven't seen much of his stuff this year but his match against Daniels on User Image earlier this year was better than this match.

I thought Joe vs Angle 2 was fucking great. They really beat the shit out of each other

As to where it goes next, i definitely think it'll be some sort of gimmick match. Submission, iron man or Six six sides of steel

I'd say Ironman or Best 2 Out of 3 Falls... maybe like a Three Stages of Hell with different stipulations (though, I doubt they'll use too much of a gimmick). Six-Sides of Steel would probably be too much of what's been being done so much in the past few weeks. Just so long as there's no ladder or cage or weapons and the match isn't on User Image and is actually given enough time (i.e.: longer than 20 minutes) User Image can't go wrong.

TNA over uses everything, so a six sides of steel match is still a possibility. I think an iron man match or submission match are they way to go. I wouldn't be suprised if Russo came up with some idotic gimmick or stipulation though.

I really liked this weeks impact. 3 things made it great for me. Angle putting the ankle lock on Don West was hilarious, plus i didn't have to listen to him for the rest of the show. AMW breaking up so now i don't have to watch them have the same match every fucking time and best of all.....stage 2 of the P.C.S. Never thought i'd say this, but Kevin Nash is one of the best things inTNA. These skits are comedy gold.

Nash: Jay Lethal, i believe you're first
Lethal: Why do i have to go first ?
Nash: Because you're black

I don't beleive it. After last monday's RAW I will never, ever, complain about another Edge vs. Cena match again! EVER! Good god, those guys owned.

It was a pretty good User Image... BTW: Dude, I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not... based on your previous opinion of Edge/Cena matches. I, however, did like the match. I especially liked that the guys decided to change the moves up for once (I marked out for Cena going 2002 on us and hitting Edge with a Throwback). The battle royal was sweet but I found the end predictable and I wish User Image would've actually surprised us and had HBK win the damned thing. HBK vs. Cena would've been good, too, and the same main event could've still happened with Rated RKO interfering in the HBK/Cena match... Ah, well... I'll let it go.

I wasn't being sarcastic at all. They had a **** match on free TV that barely went 15 mintues. The ending was great because it's fun to see everybody and their grandmother run in sometimes.

See... again... that sounds sarcastic. Anyway, I liked the match, too, but didn't pay enough attention. Did you check out what happened to Mercury? I've been creeped out by that see-saw ladder move since the Hardy's started doing it years ago and somebody finally proved me right about how fucked up dangerous it is.

Mercury's face is fucked. I couldn't believe it when i saw him on Smackdown last week. He looked like Rocky after one of his 120 round matches

Not watched this weeks Impact yet. I got an ROH show and WCW Bash at the beach 97 to watch first

Got 10 ROH DVD's on the way from the $10 and 10% off sale they just had too. About 70 including shipping. Sweet cool

I honestly assure you that you that I enjoyed the match alot. I feel that sometimes a finish that involves tons of wrestlers interfereing is very fun.

Also, R.I.P Mercury's face.

Just wanted to point out that as of this moment John Cena vs. K-Fed is the match of the year... sure, it's because it's been the only match thus far but still... laugh
