I got Mass Effect 2 for PS3. I finished it once on Normal but I am now in my run on Insanity difficulty. Damn it's hard some times but, damn, if it's not rewarding when I finally win a battle.

To prepare myself, I watched YouTube uploads of the first game's story. Watching that made me excited already for ME2. I really like it.

the only problem I have now, is how stupid your teammates are. On Normal it did not matter because enemies died pretty easily. On Insanity, I really need my buddies so when they get out of cover when three rockets are flying towards them, I get annoyed.

But I'm steadily going through the story again and it's going pretty well as of right now. I think the learning curve is behind me.

"Hi i'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the citadel"

Awesome game that, even though it's not really much of an RPG

Last few months i've got

Undead Nightmare: Downloaded as it's only 8 on PSN. It's awesome. If you have Red Dead, this is a must buy

Yakuza 4. 65 hours on my first playthrough, and still only 35% completion lol

Killzone 3. Intense is probably the best word for it. You feel the Helgahst really, really want to kill you lol

I finished Mass Effect 2 a couple of times, including The Arrival DLC, and decided to go with a new character. I used a male Paragon Infiltrator for my first two runs (normal and insanity) and I use a female Renegade Adept now (hard difficulty).

I also got Undead Nightmare but then the collector's disc which includes Liars & Cheats DLC and Legends and Killer DLC. I do not really enjoy the sparsity of ammunition in the single player. I have been able to just avoid the zombies, only killing those in towns that need to be cleared of the undead.

L.A. Noire is looking gorgeous but I will wait for a Game of the Year edition or Complete Edition (like Rockstar did with GTA IV) on this one. The game will sell well, I believe, so it will not need my personal financial support in the early weeks.

I would support the Team ICO HD Collection and The Last Guardian but, goddamn it, they have been postponed indefinitely. How long do you need to work on a f'ing game?

Being on holiday, I just brought my PSP ('say whu, no PS3?') but I downloaded LittleBigPlanet for PSP. The small screen is straining my eyes but the cuteness and fun from its big brother are there. I'll definitely get through the rainy days I'm sure to get.

The look for Robin in his own challenge maps for Batman: Arkham City. I actually really like it.

So I have been dying a lot in Demon's Souls. Is anyone familiar with this brutal RPG?

Team ICO HD Collection finally has a release date: 28 September in Europe. I really look forward to this.

That's all you do in Demon Souls

You die, and die and die, till you figure out how not to

At least that's what people say. Never played it myself. Way, way too hard for me

I been playing Mass Effect 2 a lot again. I must have finished it about 8 times now.

Legion best be a permanent member in 3. It sucks that you only get to use him for a couple of missions. He's fucking awesome. Once you get him that mantis sniper rifle, he's a fucking beast

Demon's Souls, though difficult, was not too harsh after all. In fact, I loved how this game actually challenged you to be careful about your defence and attack and how it punished you if you did not. This game does not need a Hard Mode to be challenging.

I think this might be the best game I have played in recent years. The experience felt so satisfying that I decided to honour From Software -- a developer I not only thank for Demon's Souls but also for the Tenchu game series -- by placing a pre-order on their new title and spiritual successor of Demon's Souls: Dark Souls.

Anyone else going to get that game?

I have also tried [Prototype] but I have to say the game looked absolutely rubbish. I heard all these great reviews that likened it to InFamous. Well, so far, [Prototype] doesn't hold a candle to InFamous.

I have also been working my way through the first Uncharted on Hard Mode. It's challenging but fun. I'm not yet convinced of the hype surrounding the series. Then again, I have heard that the sequel really blows the first one out of the water.

Did anyone see the 20 minutes of gameplay for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? This looks pretty incredible. And the serene music as we are introduced to the world sounds sublime.

Mass Effect 3 will have four-player co-op. I like the idea and the sound of it.

Who has been playing Batman: Arkham City and wants to rub it in my face? I have too many games so I will not get it yet but all reviewers score this game very, very high.
