Bioshock is amazing, has anyone played that? Seriously wipes Halo 3's single player campaign across the floor.

Not really hard to have a better single player mode than Halo as it's an average FPS and it's main thing is multi player

Anyway, played the Bioshock demo. It looked pretty good. Didn't buy it cause of the rootkit 2K decided to put in it and fuck over the PC gamers angry

Which one didn't you like, Clerk?

I thought 2 became a bit of a clusterfuck but I thought 3 went back to being really good.

Metal Gear Solid was able to present the craziest circumstances in a realistic fashion, like Psycho Mantis.

Metal Gear Solid 3, I loved the Naked Snake plot dont get me wrong, but everything with the bosses was shit crazy, and I don't think MGS4 looks like it'll be any better. What good is the layered main plot when the actual gameplay revolves around the weirdest character arcs?

The shit crazy bosses are awesome in MGS 3 IMO. The fight with "The End" is one of, if not the best boss fight ever. It's a total war of attrition. It can last many, many hours. The Jungle setting is immense too. I didn't want to leave it. I was a total beast in the Jungle

MGS 4 is gonna be full of crazy shit too. Metal Gear ain't Metal Gear unless there's insane story elements and crazy characters and bosses

Just 3 over months till it comes out now too. I can't wait cool

what a coincidence, i just finished Bioshock myself the other day lol

All the reviewers were spot on about it. Fucking awesome game. When i played the demo i wasn't that impressed with the visuals, yeah it looked nice but not that impressive. As you progress you see how good the graphics are though. The bit were you see the Little Sisters hideout is fantastic. The animation is stunning

The bit that stuck out with me was the theatrical guy's hideout (forgot his name). Where all the splicers were enclosed in the plaster and all the fancy drama dolls were hanging with neon lit signs. Twas awesome.

I got GTA 4 today

I wasn't going to originally, but after all them 10 reviews i decided i would give it a punt

Takes a few hours to get into. The cars fucking slide everywhere. If you get a fast car and try and corner and high speed......you're fucked. So getting good at driving is gonna be a challenge. Got a gun now and from the looks of it the new cover and targetting system should work well once i get the hang of it.

The TV show and adverts you watch are hilarious. You could easly waste many hours watchinf them. I also like the places where you take your freinds and dates. You can go bowling, play pool and Darts. You can also go to pubs and the strip club. Getting drunk is funny. You wobble and fall over everywhere. Don't try and drive or you get the cops after you, plus you fucking crash anyway.

I have no money at the mo cause i spent it all getting lap dances at the strip club grin

I have received MGS3: Subsistence just now. Unfortunately, I am in the middle of replaying Final Fantasy VII in anticipation of Crisis Core (and I also have to get my hand on Dirge of Cerberus, still).
FF7 is still the best game I have ever come across. What strikes me is that, even though in FF10 and FF12 the story lines are great too, in FF7 the characters are a lot more fleshed-out: they have real personalities and, most importantly, backgrounds. I just met Cid for the first time and it amazed me to see how his character was clear instantly. And the same holds for someone like Barret, or Cloud, Aerith.

Awesome. I love the cheesy graphics. I doubt that if the game would be remade with better graphics (which was a discussion after the technical demo for the PS3 was shown) would work -- the cheesy graphics work well with the movements the characters make. It is a big part of the appeal.
