Hey snipe, thanks for the listen. I know I wasted a couple of minutes of your life you'll never get back, that's why I appreciate it so.
The song Liquid is from a former band of mine - we quit about two and a half years ago. That's me on drums, plus a bassguitarist and guitarist. The band also featured singer, but frankly, I think this instrumental song was our best song. The other two songs are just me working with my Macbook. I plan on doing the drums live for Cloudburst and to do some free bass over Motivational Muse. That is, when I have practiced the live parts. Up until now I have only made the songs, not played them.
Is there something I could change to the songs to make them better (e.g., volume adjustments, make certain aspect more clear, or perhaps some notes are off?) or are the gripes more subjective?

I took Cloudburst off. I need to redo that song once, when I have the time. I did put some other stuff on last.fm and MySpace.
02 AKA Motivational Muse is still the most 'finished' track I have ever made. 01 AKA [Untitled] I like but might not be for everyone, at least not immediately. 03 AKA [Untitled] (unsimplified) has a cool beat and feel to it, although I am working on a simplified version since the drums are all over the place. I like it, but it needs to be simplified. Cloudburst (d'nb version) was just fun. I took a bassline from the song I was working on and turned it into this thing, that has some nice ideas in it. So now I have a finished remix of song that itself I have not finished yet...
I have a lot of other ideas but just not the time to work them out. the most difficult thing is not to get nice ideas, but to expand on them -- create fitting bridges, transitions, etcetera -- to let all flow into each other and still sound smooth, like one track, not something jigsaw'ish.
On the opening page you will find a collaboration between my and my brother: the road less travelled by. On the right you see pictures with links to my Remixes and solo work (Stacked Tosti Supreme).
I have on ReMix at the moment: One, Two, Battle! A mix between the battle themes from Final Fantasy (1987) and Final Fantasy II (1988).
Stacked Tosti Supreme has five finished tracks. I feel genuinely content with the first four tracks. Don't Look Back was a joke between me and my brother -- who could write the best gabber track? Hear the humour in it. I actually feel content with that one, too. So bad, it's good.
