No commentary again? sad The originals are getting rereleased with new covers. Might pick up the Forever one for my sister and the Burton ones is I feel like wasting money.

UK dwellers will be relieved to hear that our Batman Returns Blu-Ray is FINALLY uncut AND contains the Tim Burton commentary cut from our DVD release.

Also interesting of note, the picture quality of both Burton movies (particularly Returns) on Blu-Ray is FAR superiour to the Dark Knight Blu-Ray. Obviously the iMax footage in the Dark Knight is stunning, but the standard filming used for much of the film looks very low-res, grainy, and washed out compared to most Blu-Rays; and to be honest, isn't really a whole lot better than most DVDs (And an interesting side-note; the DVD release of the Dark Knight has attrocious picture). Overall the Dark Knight had a very disappointing and lazy Blu-Ray and DVD release.

But Returns on the other hand; now this film has finally been given the justice it deserves cheesy Very happy, I can't wait to sit down and watch it properly! cry (Tears of joy!)
