Has anybody read these titles? Good or bad?

Hi I've been looking to buy some Batman comics, but I'm not sure if they are any good, maybe you guys can shed some light on how good or bad they are:
- Gordon Of Gotham - Batman vs Aliens - Book Of Shadows - The Batman (Tangent) - Batman/Phantom Stranger - Batman: Manbat - Scottish Connection - I, Joker - Book Of The Dead
Anything really good or anything I should stay away from?
I know, a tad late, but have a happy 2013!
I hope The Batsquad will stay my number one place to go to with all my Bat-related questions!

I haven't yet read Batman vs Aliens, it's on my shelf with all the other Batman vs Aliens/Predators to read at some point though.
As for the others, The Scottish Connection is the only one in our Continuity so I'd say that's essential. I have only read it the once (and that was over ten years ago!) and I didn't think it to be anything special at the time. Many like it mainly due to it being an early Frank Quitely Batman book.
Gordon Of Gotham I believe features a storyline about Flass from Year One. It has been a while since I read it, but I don't think it was compatible with his ultimate fate depicted in Dark Victory, which is the more important story. I could be mixing it up with Gordon's Law, but I'm pretty sure this is the one that features Flass.
The rest of the books are mostly Elseworlds, they're nothing life changing. But if you need Batman books to read you'll find them far preferable to anything you'll get from the New 52, aside from Batman Inc Vol 2 of course
Although I have no opinion on any Tangent Comics, I've never read any of them.

I, Joker was quite bad (even for an elseworlds), if I remember correctly. As Nick mentioned, The Scottish Connection is in continuity, mostly dealing with Alfred's roots I think. Sorry, it's been a while since I read any of these. I want to say Phantom Stranger is either in continuity or nothing in it makes me believe otherwise. There are two different Man-Bat books. One was a three issue mini, one was a one-shot. One (and, again, I don't remember which) is clearly (and marked) elseworlds.

Book Of Shadows is the most interesting one amongst all of them. Rest of them are not read by me except one or two of them.
