Very sad... cry sad...I was a fan of his artwork and he was one ofthe first Batman artists I saw..his work on A Death in the Family really brought life into the storyline with so much emotion in each character's face (batman holding robin classic) brilliantly done...Goodbye Jim Aparo

Wow... I wasn't a big fan of his work, but I could enjoy it.
And even if I should loath his work, then it's still sad to know a man died.

Yep, I know this topic is old but im sensitive enough to answer: Im very sensitive with the people I like...the rest can be erased of existence...

Benn looking to post about this. Aparo's stories got me into Batman 16-17 years ago. May he rest in Peace.
