They're moving to adapt comics to animation for DVD. Each will be overseen by original creators. Some in the works: TnTT: The Judas Contract (working with MARV WOLFMAN and George Perez), Superman: Doomsday, and New Frontier (working with Darwyn Cooke).
The best news? Bruce Timm will be overseeing all!

Well, what have you got?
I don't go broke
And I do it a lot
I do it a lot, yeah

You can't understand a user's mind
But try, with your books and degrees
If you let yourself go and opened your mind
I'll bet you'd be doing like me
And it ain't so bad

I'm really curious to see how these works will work out.

That sounds great, and also the rumour about Identity Crisis sounds good, On ign.com they put in what they feel should be made

That's weird, many years ago I had a dream that I was holding Batman: Year One DVD that was made by the Dini/Timm team in my hands.

Will this be on the same continuity of the DCAU? It's not hard to do. Although Jason Todd never existing might complicate things.

No - they'll be comic adaptations. Completely seperate from DCAU.

Picked up Superman Doomsday and watched it. Very enjoyable. The only problem I had was that they didn't make me care for Superman before they killed him off. The death didn't touch me the way it should have.
I thought they did a great job of replacing the replacements storyline - I honestly didn't see that coming.
