I'm surprised at the lack of thread here. This is easily the best superhero television show I've seen (Probably not high praise), despite Season 1 having a shaky first start, and a really awful CW mandated love triangle, it really picks up for the second half of the season. Season 2 has been completely firing on all cylinders, Manu Bennett as Deathstroke deserves his own series/film/whatever.

Please tell me you guys are on this?

I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, though it is in my Netflix queue.

The first half of Season 1 can be a bit of a stinker. But once Manu Bennett shows up as Slade it starts being fairly faithful to DC lore. People bashed it for trying to ape Nolan's gritty realism style, but it's slowly becoming very much the DC we know and love.

All the comics characters that have appeared in costume on the show so far;

Huntress;

Black Canary;

Deathstroke;

Green Arrow;

Bronze Tiger and Deadshot;

The bloke to the right of Tiger is Shrapnel, who is likely to get a more comics accurate look in his next appearance.

Nyssa Raatko/Al Ghul;

Merlyn;

Given how hammy the actor who plays him is, he's much more fun with the hood down.

Brother Blood;

Looks too much like Scarecrow IMHO.

We're about half-way through season 1 and are quite enjoying it. Agree that it's trying a bit much to be Nolan Batman, though.

For some time now I've heard from multiple people that Arrow is quite good. I haven't found the time to get into the series. How accessible is this for someone who does not know much about Green Arrow? I never followed his books--don't really care about the character--and my partner knows even less.

Finished season 2. Season 3 of Arrow begins the cross-overs with s1 of Flash.
Arrow has been great so far. There are some trite / cringe-worthy scenes here and there, but for the most part, I've enjoyed it.
